The Mirror:

late night finish :)

Once upon a time there was a beautiful girl,
with glistening eyes and locks of pretty curls.
She had a personality that drew anyone near,
but the mirror soon made that disappear.
It's a shame what a simple refelection can do,
Their Maker delights, if only they knew.
I wish somehow I could make them see,
that God created them to be like He.
She's compared to pearls, lilies and gold,
I wonder if she's ever been told?
God is good and his mercies reign,
He calls His princess by her name.
He knows our heart and what we need,
so look up to Jesus and fall on your knees.
